I must admit this was my first time trying Shito. After first seeing this on Side hustlers, I knew I had to try it and I'm so glad I did. I absolutely loved it! (so did all my friends that tried it) It is deliciously flavorful with a kick of spice. I put it on everything...I mean there hasn't been anything that it doesn't taste good with. I use in soups, on steak, chicken, wings, fish, eggs, vegetables, rice and even on my favorite...Oxtail. I though it might be a bit spicy at first try, but a little goes a long way and I don't find it too spicy at all anymore, and I got the Medium.
I use Gloria's Shito so often and wasn't a fan of using a spoon in the jar every time. I was able to find a squeeze bottle with a wide enough opening so I could just squeeze the amount I want, which worked out great. That would be my only suggestion to have the option of a squeeze type bottle instead. By the way my order included some stickers for Gloria's Shito which you can attach to any bottle. This has definitely become a staple at every meal. I just finished up my first jar...onto the next. I'm looking forward to having this readily available in Canada.

I LOVE this chili oil! The flavor is deep without being overpowering, so it compliments all kinds of food very easily. I’ve been drizzling it over pizza, butter noodles, and fried tofu! I love that it’s also vegan friendly!
I've really enjoyed experimenting with this chili oil as a condiment and am anxious to try it in more recipes from the website. If there were a mild - low heat option I would probably purchase that next time just because the spice does add up quickly when using as a condiment.
